Region 21 Black Belt Camp

We have another great camp planned this year! Once again, we are inviting 1st GUPs and above to Black Belt Camp. The venue is Camp John Hope in Georgia. Camp John Hope is located in Fort Valley, GA. The address is 281 Hope Entrance Road Fort Valley, GA 31030.

All participants must be pre-registered via the Region 21 Pay Pal site. The deadline to register is 6/14/24. The cost for students is $200. The registration fee is inclusive of lodging, meals and training! Instructors teaching at the camp will receive different rates with alternate lodging options. A non-training parent may attend at a reduced fee of $150.00 only if they are willing to be a chaperone and bunk with students.  Parents who wish to come and watch camp and NOT chaperone, will not be able to stay overnight at the camp with us. As always, we will need to do background checks on all adults bunking with students so we will need a copy of DL and social security number of all chaperones. 

​Shirts are included with the registration for training students and instructors. Additional shirts may be purchased separately. Chaperone registration does not include shirts. Proceeds from these shirts will go to the Region 21 Scholarship Fund! The deadline to get shirts (with registration or separately) is 6/7/24. 

Once all registrations are received cabin are assignments based on gender, age and rank. The beds are barracks style twin size bunk beds.

We are requesting chaperones from each studio so that all students are safely chaperoned. Non-chaperone family members will need to make hotel accommodations off-site.

Check-in is Friday beginning around 1:30 PM. Please do NOT arrive early for check-in.

The first session will begin at 3:00 PM in full uniform. Remember that early is on time! ​
