| 1968– | Master Jae Chul Shin formed the U.S. Tang Soo Do Federation in Burlington, New Jersey |
| 1982– | The Charter convention of the World Tang Soo Do Association was held in Philadelphia, PA., USA. With the advent of the World Tang Soo Do Association, Tang Soo Do began a new era of development as a traditional martial art. |
| 2010– | Grand master Shin accepts the rank of 9th degree black belt at the 2010 WTSDA World Championships. Thereby promoting Master Beaudoin to 8th dan grand master. |
| 2012– | The association moves it's headquarters to Burlington, NC, fulfilling one of Grandmaster Shin’s dreams of a purpose built headquarters for the World Tang Soo Do Association. |

We are Region 21 of the World Tang Soo Do Association. We represent the studio owners, instructors and students in Florida and Georgia.
We may be comfortable or we may be struggling to make ends meet. We might be new to Tang Soo Do, or we have many years in the martial disciplines. Whether we have black belts or white ones, we earned our rank with sweat and hard work. We practice alone at home, and help each other in class.
We avoid dispute and violence, and we walk with the peaceful mind of the unafraid. We are Martial Artists.
When you're ready to give up the couch and the television, we'll be here. Karate is for the rest of your life.
