FRI, OCTOBER 13: Black Belt Test
Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Written test must be completed at your studio with your instructor prior to attending the physical test.

All paperwork and fees must be turned in through your instructor per their instructions before the physical test.

SAT, OCTOBER 14: Clinic & Competition

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

8:00 - Doors Open

8:30 - Opening Ceremonies

9:00 - Clinic

11:00 - Leadership Seminar with Chris Green

12:00 - Lunch Break

1:00 - Tournament (breaking and team sparring)

Clinic
Three 40-minute clinics for students from Tiny Tigers to Black Belt! Region 21 masters and instructors will lead Clinic Sessions based on their specialties.

Breaking

Breaking competition is back! Start practicing your breaking techniques. Power and creativity will score big points. Each competitor will perform 2 breaks and may choose use 2 boards for one of these breaks. Tiny Tigers will compete with confidence boards.

*** All boards must be purchased through event registration. No outside boards will be allowed.***

Team Sparring

Teams will be made up of Gup or Dan competitors. Matches will be a 3-minute round with no point limit. 2 points will be scored for any kicks to the head and 1 point for punches or kicks to the torso. All members of each team must participate, or the team will have a 5-point deduction at the end of the match. The team with the most points at the end of the match is the winner. In the event of a tie, each team will choose one person to spar in sudden death with the team scoring the first point being declared winners. Legal techniques, targets, & warnings as defined by WTSDA 2022 rulebook.

*** Uniforms: WTSDA standard dobohk and belts only, including regulation trim and patches. All protective gear for sparring, including groin protectors for males, must be worn by all team members for team sparring***

SAT, OCTOBER 14: Dinner Party
Time: 5:30 PM

Casual dinner. Price $33.50. RSVP by 10/6.

Buffet Menu: Catfish filet, chicken fingers, shrimp in white wine sauce, steamed shrimp, slaw, mac 'n cheese, fries, hushpuppies, garden salad.

SUN, OCTOBER 15: Advanced Training

Time 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM

7:30 - Devotional

8:00 - Ribbon cutting

8:30 - Ki gong

9:00 - advanced training for 2nd dans and above
