What to Expect at the Region 21 Fall Clinic & Competition
The Region 21 Fall Clinic & Competition is a full day of training, inspiration, and friendly competition.
We will kick off the morning with line up, warm ups, and a special opening ceremony featuring demonstrations, promotions, and the introduction of our visiting Masters and studio leaders. Then it is straight into three high energy clinic sessions taught by some of the top instructors in our region. These sessions will give you the chance to sharpen your skills, try new techniques, and train alongside students from across Region 21.
Please bring any of the following if you have them. We will have some available for those who don't, but not enough for everyone:
Sword, Staff, Cane, Kama, and Sparring Gear.
In the afternoon, students will be divided into age and rank divisions. Tigers and Dragons will also have their own separate competition, with details provided in the Competition Guidelines. Students will test their skills in Il Soo Sik / Ho Sin Sul (Hands, Kicks, and Grabs) and Kyuck Pa (Board Breaking). Once all divisions are complete, the excitement builds with the open Power Breaking Division, where competitors push themselves to new limits in front of the entire crowd.
And do not worry about packing food. The Ripple Effect Martial Arts Parents Club will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, donuts, snacks, and plenty of cold drinks including water, Gatorade, and soda. They will be open the entire clinic so you can fuel up without ever leaving the action.
It is a day packed with learning, growth, and the spirit of Tang Soo Do. Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or aiming to take home a medal, you will walk away with new skills, new friends, and unforgettable memories.
