Step 1: Join the canvas class using this link:https://canvas.instructure.com/enroll/3MCX8C or you can use the join code 3MCX8C

You may use a computer, tablet, or even a smart phone to take the tests. Make sure to use the same device on test day so there are no compatibility issues. This link will take you to a page which says: Enroll in WTSDA - Region 21 Black Belt Testing. Just enter your email and FULL NAME, and then confirm the account. If you already have an account, there will just be an enroll now button.

Step 2: Once you are logged in there will be a button that says “Go to course” or you can choose “WTSDA Region 21 Black Belt Test” from your list of courses. Either will take you to the home page where you can take the practice test now and the actual test when it is time. As you can see from the picture on the left, the interface very simple.

​Step 3: Take the practice test immediately. The instructions provide a password for the practice test. On the test day, your instructor will provide you with a different password for the real test. As you can see on the right, the practice test is just 2 questions, and it should only take about 1 minute to complete. Again, this is designed to ensure that everything is working before test day.

Step 4: Confirm your account and create your password using the email Canvas sent you. Write down this email and password to bring on test day. If you forget, the password recovery process takes a while, and you don't need that stress on test day!

Step 6: The Access Code your instructor will provide you is CAPS sensitive, so type it in carefully. You must answer all questions to submit your quiz at the bottom of the page. The system will automatically enforce the 1-hour time limit (90 minutes for the Judges Exam) and automatically submit your answers if you have not finished before time runs out. You will get credit for each of the questions you have completed by that time.

Be sure your device is fully charged at the start of the exam, and you may want to bring a battery or plug as well just in case.

This is a huge step in your martial arts journey, and we cannot wait to see you show off your knowledge and skills at the test.
 The written tests for Region 21 are now online in the CANVAS system. It is free to use, and you may even have an account already from school. If not, you can sign up in about 1 minute, and the entire test prep process should only take about 5 minutes. Follow the steps below to enroll and then do a simple practice test to make sure you are ready for the proctored exam at your dojang.

Step 5: Log in at https://canvas.instructure.com/login/canvas using the account you created to take the practice test and click the “WTSDA Region 21 Black Belt Test” button. Choose the appropriate test from the list. Please double check to confirm that you have entered the correct test before you start answering any questions. It will be written at the top of the test page.
