Step 1:Join the canvas class using this link: https://canvas.instructure.com/enroll/3MCX8C or you can use the join code 3MCX8C
You may use a computer, tablet, or even a smart phone to take the tests. This link will take you to a page which says: Enroll in WTSDA Region 21 Black Belt & Judging Tests. Just enter your email and FULL NAME, and then confirm the account. If you already have an account, there will just be an enroll now button.
Step 2: Confirm your account and create your password using the email Canvas sent you. Write down this email and password to bring on test day. You will be using this same account for all future Black Belt ranks and Judge Certifications for years to come. If you forget, the password recovery process takes a while, and you don't need that stress on test day!
Step 3:Once you are logged in there will be a button that says “Go to course” or you can choose “WTSDA Region 21 Black Belt Test” from your list of courses. The home page will look like the picture below. Choose the appropriate test from the list. Please double check to confirm that you have entered the correct test before you start answering any questions. It will be written at the top of the test page.
Step 4: Each test requires an Access Code. For the Black belt tests, you will receive this on test day at your studio. Judges tests may be completed any time on your schedule. Simply fill out the Request Form using the link on the homepage to receive your Access Code.
***NOTE: Access Codes are CAPS sensitive, so type carefully.***
You must answer all questions to submit your quiz at the bottom of the page. The system will automatically enforce the 1-hour time limit (90 minutes for the Judges Exam) and automatically submit your answers if you have not finished before time runs out. You will get credit for each of the questions you have completed by that time.
Be sure your device is fully charged at the start of the exam, and you may want to bring a battery or plug as well just in case. The clock keeps running if you have technical issues, or get logged out. Be sure to let your instructor/proctor know immediately if something happens mid-test.

The written tests for Region 21 are now online in the CANVAS system. It is free to use, and you may even have an account already from school. If not, you can sign up in about 1 minute, and the entire test prep process should only take about 5 minutes. Follow the steps below to enroll and then do a simple practice test to make sure you are ready for the proctored exam at your dojang.
