What is the Region 21 Leadership Club?

Sorry, but it's not that kind of a club. There is no clubhouse, no private membership and no secret handshake. The Region 21 Leadership Club is another name for an annual fee, paid by every senior rank.

What do I get for joining, maybe a funny hat or a T-shirt?

The money collected is used to defray extraordinary expenses. For instance, costs for room and dining for visiting masters and dignitaries who come to Region 21 may be paid in part by Leadership Club dues.

Who pays the Leadership Club dues?

Every Cho Dan Bo and Black Belt in Region 21 pays into the Leadership Club. If you are a Cho Dan Bo or higher as of January 1, you should pay. If you are promoted to Blue Belt after January 1, you do not owe dues for that year.

How much does it cost me to be in the Leadership Club?

Annual dues are $15.00. Students who pay late are assessed a $15.00 late fee.

When is my payment due?

Leadership Club fees are payable after January 1 of each year. Fees must be received by February 28, 2018, to avoid a late fee.

How do I pay?

We make it easy. All payments are through PayPal, with a credit or debit card, or a PayPal account. See below. I don't think I want to pay. We understand. No one likes paying fees. But we think it important that the higher ranks show leadership and support visits from Grandmaster Beaudoin and other masters. We do not force anyone to pay Leadership Club dues. However, to be fair to all those who do support Region 21, if a student chooses not to pay the LC dues, that student will not be allowed to participate in official Region 21 events, including Black Belt tests, tournament or clinics. When did this start? This has been official Region 21 policy for years. Like all region policies, this has been discussed and voted on by all of the Region 21 studio owners
